A stallion for Breeders who want the best bloodlines and Olympic performance; Horizon Stables is proud to introduce Wasabi M.  With near perfect conformation, extremely balanced, powerful gaits and tremendous scope over the jumps, this young stallion has huge potential in the Jumper and Hunter ring.  Wasabi M was bred by Eduardo Muniz of Las Marismas Sport Horses.   His dam, Obligeant II, has first generation, proven, lineage and was bred to proven international show jumper, Numero Uno.  This outstanding stallion was born April 20, 2003 and purchased in early 2005 by Horizon Stables.

Wasabi M is bred by the European champion Numero Uno.  This Holsteiner stallion is the son of Libero H (by Landgraf I) who won the 1994 World Cup Final under Jos Lansink.  Libero H's offspring that compete internationally include the well-known U.S. competitor Liberty, Laura Kraut's grand prix superstar and partner at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, and Iowa, winner of the 2000 Sires of the World Championships.  Numero Uno's dam Jolanda (Lord Calando x Ahorn Z) has the same lineage as Jerry Smit's Olympic and World Cup horse Lux Z.  During his stallion performance testing in Ermela, Numero Uno received 9 for his canter and averaged 8.5 in jumping with scores of 9 for impression, 8 for technique, 8.5 for ability and 8.5 for jumping aptitude.

Wasabi M's dam is the Nimmerdor mare Obligeant II.  By Farn, Nimmerdor sired over 40 approved stallions, including Wellington, Heartbreaker, Goodtimes and Amethist.  With 42 offspring competing internationally, Nimmerdor ranked 29th in the World Breeding Federation' for 1992-2001.  Obligeant II's dam is by Notaris, who ranks alongside Nimmerdor as top stallions of all time.  He has many approved sons and daughters and his international show jumping offspring include Virtual Village Hilton (Michael Whitaker), Catch 22 (Ainsley Vince) Cracker Jack, Eldorado, and Edison to name a few.

Considering that 25% of the top 150 Dutch show jumpers are out of broodmares by Nimmerdor, Horizon's Wasabi M has a bright future ahead of him.  Breed to the best and choose Wasabi M for your future star.
