Penelope K is a 2002 mare out of an extraordinary hunter stallion Popeye K.  In 2004 Popeye K was USEF Horse of the year (Green Confirmation hunters), PHR National Silver Stirrup (Green Working Hunter Champion), Reserve Champion WEF Circuit, Winner WCHR Alabama Clay Confirmation Hunter award and was the current leader Nationally in the Green Confirmation hunters as of 11-1-04.  Her dams sire Hamar is handsome, fast and careful over the jumps and has a wonderful disposition.  In 1997, Hamar was ranked 5th by the KWPN Stallion Performance index due to the results of his 4-6 year old offspring.

VIP is really a who's who of the KWPN.  Her sire Corland (of VDL Studs) won his stallion test and placed well in the World Championships for  young jumpers  Corland had a very successful international career placing in Oslo, Helsinki, Bordeaux, Den Bosh, Sires of the World, Rotterdam, Calgary and the Verona World Cup.  Corland's father line is of only top Holstein sires and mother line Stamm number 104A.  His progeny perform well with great success.  VIP's dam's sire is Wellington.  Wellington is from the famous stallion Nimmerdor.  Nimmerdor has 40 approved stallions including Goodtimes, Heartbreaker, Amethist and of course Wellington.  Nimmerdor was ranked 29th in the world breeding Federation for 1992-2001.

Carolina is a 16hh TB mare with lots of character.  Early in her career she was circuit green hunter champion and had many championships in the adult amateur classes.  Carolina then moved into the jumper ring and was a star.  She quickly moved up the ranks to the 4'3" classes due to her back cracking jumping style.  Carolina was quick with her front end and kicked up with her powerful hind end.  She entered into classes like the Molson speed derby and stake classes.

Carolina retired from the ring early so that we could use her in our breeding program.  Her bloodlines are unknown to us.  However at the Canadian Warmblood inspection she received 2nd premium status, Confirmation Marks: head 8, Neck 7, Saddle position 8, Croup 8, forelegs 8, and hind legs 7.  Classification: breed and sex type 8, confirmation 8, swing and elasticity of gaits 7, walk 7, general impression and development 8.

She is a 16.3hh mare who had her career ended by an early injury.  Kismet was successful on the local circuit up to 3'9".  Now she is an amazing broodmare asset.  Producing foals of high quality and passing down her great canter and mind.  This was my first jumper, now she leaves a legacy to continue in her footsteps. 

At the Canadian Warmblood inspection Kismet scored really high marks.  Conformation: head 7, neck 7, saddle position 8, Croup 8, forelegs 7, hind legs 7.  Classification: breed and sex type 7, conformation 7, correctness of gaits 8, swing and elasticity of gaits 8, walk 8, general impression and development 7.
